The AirTAC GFR30008C1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008C1WT is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air with a 5 um element and sets downstream pressure anywhere in the 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range. The 1/4 in NPT port suits compact supply drops, the differential-pressure drain bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, and the fitted round MPa gauge lets you read the set pressure at a glance. The polycarbonate bowl is protected by a metal bowl guard, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drain, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench pneumatic press or riveter: the 5 um element keeps wear particles and water out of the cylinder seals while the regulator holds a repeatable working pressure for consistent forming results.
A 1/4 in supply point on a cartoning or wrapping machine, where the differential-pressure drain removes condensate as air flows and the round gauge lets an operator verify set pressure without tools.
Conditioning air to a compact pick-and-place gripper circuit: clean, regulated air at a stable setpoint protects the small control valves and vacuum generators that make the cell cycle reliably.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port, one step up from the 1/8 in size-200 units. Match the size to the air demand of the circuit rather than the pipe alone. The differential-pressure drain is the zero-maintenance default; choose automatic drain (code A) for unattended duty or manual drain (code M) where you want positive control. The 5 um element fitted here is the finer of the two published grades - the 40 um standard element suits general supply, while 5 um protects valves, cylinders and instruments. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar) and thread can be ordered as PT, G or NPT to match your installation.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so we cannot quote a rated flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application's air demand and we will confirm the correct size and the datasheet flow figures for you before you order.
The W code in GFR30008C1WT selects the optional 5 um filtration grade; the standard element is 40 um. Choose 5 um where downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer protection, and 40 um for general supply lines. Both grades are available across the GFR range, and the drain on this unit is the differential-pressure type, which bleeds condensate automatically as air flows through.
