The AirTAC GFR30008JF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008JF3T is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady. This unit is the 300 size with a 1/4 in NPT thread, the 40 um standard filter element and a differential-pressure drain that discharges collected condensate according to flow through the unit. The embedded square gauge reads in bar, the regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, and no mounting bracket or reverse/check valve is fitted with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is offered in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT to order, plus manual or automatic drain, 5 um (W) filtration, gauge scale and bracket options. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to a machining centre's tool-clamp and tool-change circuits: the 40 um element protects the clamp valve from water and swarf-carrying condensate, and the bar-scaled gauge lets setters set and verify clamp pressure at the unit.
Supplying pneumatic clamp cylinders on a carton-sealing or case-packing line, where the regulator holds a consistent clamp force shift after shift and the differential-pressure drain clears condensate from the bowl as air flows to the cylinders.
Conditioning the air feed to spray guns in a finishing booth: the 40 um element strips water and particulate that would otherwise blemish the coating, while the regulator holds the gun supply pressure steady as the operator works.
Size the unit by port and required flow: this 300 size takes a 1/4 in port, and the larger 400 and 600 sizes carry more flow at the same pressure drop - we can check the published flow curves against your air demand before you order. This configuration has the differential-pressure drain (automatic and manual drains are order options), the 40 um standard element (choose code W for the 5 um finer grade), a square gauge scaled in bar (MPa or psi scales are available) and NPT thread, where PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) can also be ordered. No bracket is fitted with this code; a bracket is an option. Regulator adjustment on this drain type spans 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR300 flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and check the sizing against your application on request, before you order.
F is the embedded square gauge and 3 is its bar scale; MPa (1) and psi (2) scales are also catalogue options, and the code N omits the gauge entirely. The trailing T is the NPT thread - PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) can be ordered instead. This code also has no bracket (J) and the differential-pressure drain as default.
