The AirTAC GFR30008MC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30008MC2WTK is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is ordered with a 1/4 in NPT port, a fine 5 um filter element (W grade), a manual drain on the PC bowl, an external round gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve. It is a genuine AirTAC part rated for a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and a working temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). With the manual drain fitted, the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
The GFR300 series covers 300-size filter regulators with a choice of ports, thread options (PT standard; G and NPT to order), drain types, filter grades, gauge styles and scales, and a reverse-valve option. Flow figures for this series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the inlet of a machine's pneumatic control panel, this filter regulator cleans the shop air to 5 um and holds a stable set pressure to the directional valves and I/O manifold, with the psi gauge giving the technician a local setpoint reference.
On a packaging or cartoning line, the unit conditions and regulates the air feeding cylinder-driven clamp, push and seal actuators, while the check valve helps hold the downstream circuit if the upstream supply dips.
Installed at an assembly-bench air drop, it filters water and pipe scale from the compressed-air ring main and lets each operator set bench pressure with the fitted psi gauge, draining accumulated condensate manually at shift checks.
Choose the 300 size with the 1/4 in NPT port when your line pressure supply and downstream piping are in that range and your required flow sits within the GFR300 curve - ask us to check the curve against your application before ordering. This unit carries the 5 um (W) element, the finer of the two published grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional), suited where downstream components need cleaner air. The manual drain (M) suits installations where an operator can bleed the bowl routinely; note that manual-drain units have the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range. The round gauge with psi scale (C2) is fitted for local pressure setting, and the K option adds a reverse/check valve. NPT thread is an order option alongside the PT standard and G (BSPP); a mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number. Send us your application's flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M code specifies a manual drain on the PC bowl, so condensate must be bled off by hand at intervals. On this manual-drain configuration the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). If you prefer automatic or differential-pressure draining, those drain options are available in the GFR300 series to order.
