The AirTAC GFR30008MJC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30008MJC1T is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, a manual drain on the PC bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, and an external round pressure gauge with an MPa scale. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with this manual-drain version, and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No mounting bracket is fitted with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge style and scale, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted ahead of a directional-valve manifold on an automated machine, this unit filters incoming compressed air and holds a set regulated pressure so the valves see clean, stable supply at the 1/4 in NPT connection.
On a cartoning or wrapping line, the filter section strips water and pipe-scale from the shop-air drop while the regulator sets the pressure feeding cylinders and actuators; the manual drain is emptied during scheduled changeovers.
For an OEM control panel with pneumatic sub-plates, the combined filter-regulator in one body saves panel space, and the round MPa gauge gives the operator a visible set-point at the 1/4 in NPT outlet.
Pick the size and port step against the air consumption of the machine served: this 300-size unit carries a 1/4 in NPT port, and larger sizes (400, 600) move up the port and flow range. Choose the drain to match access: manual drain (this unit) needs someone to open the bowl drain periodically; automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify 5 um (code W) where finer particulate removal matters. Gauge style and scale are selectable (embedded square or external round; MPa, psi or bar - this unit is a round MPa gauge), and PT is the standard thread with G and NPT as order options.
Flow for GFR units is published as curves, not a single rating, so we do not quote one number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing and the datasheet figures before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR performance as flow curves rather than a single rated-flow figure, so we do not state one number here. Tell us your inlet pressure and the air consumption of the equipment you are supplying, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is released by opening the drain fitting, which suits installations visited regularly for maintenance. If the unit will sit unattended, the same 300-size GFR is available with an automatic drain (code A) or the default differential-pressure drain - ask us for those model codes.
