The AirTAC GFR30008MJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30008MJC2T is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is fitted with a 1/4 in NPT port, a manual drain on the PC bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, and an external round gauge with a psi scale. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range, and no bracket or reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with matching port sizes, and can be ordered with automatic, manual or differential-pressure draining, a 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use air preparation for the pneumatic cylinders on a carton-sealing or case-packing machine: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before they reach the valve bank, while the regulator holds a steady setting for consistent cylinder action.
Feeding the air-actuated clamps on a CNC milling or turning cell, where a stable regulated pressure keeps workholding force repeatable and the filter keeps moisture out of the clamp cylinders and control valves.
Supplying the diverters, stoppers and pusher cylinders along a bottling or parcel-conveyor line, with the manual-drain bowl emptied during scheduled line cleaning so condensate does not carry downstream.
Choose the size and port against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is 300 size with a 1/4 in NPT port, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Drain type is a real choice: this unit has a manual drain (code M), which you drain by hand; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available if you prefer unattended water removal. The 40 um element is standard; specify code W for the 5 um grade where finer filtration is needed. The gauge here is an external round gauge with a psi scale; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is ordered in NPT. A mounting bracket is optional (this unit has none), and a reverse/check valve can be fitted on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can quote. Send us your application's air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
M is the drain code: this unit has a manual drain, so condensate collected in the PC bowl is released by hand. Choose manual where the unit is accessible and drained during routine checks; automatic or differential-pressure drains are available in the same series if you want water removal without operator attention.
