The AirTAC GFR30008MJF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4, Square Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008MJF3T is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air with a 40 um element, then holds a regulated downstream pressure adjustable from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). This configuration has 1/4 in NPT ports, a manual drain on the bowl, an embedded square gauge reading in bar, a standard regulator, no reverse/check valve, and no mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits general indoor compressed-air service; only the size 600 units use an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge scale and thread form. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the point of use on a spray-booth or finishing-line air drop, it dries and cleans the supply with the 40 um element and lets the operator set a stable gun pressure on the bar-scale square gauge, draining accumulated water by hand at shift checks.
Feeding cylinders and air actuators on a cartoning or case-packing conveyor, it filters the shop air and regulates the pressure the machine was set up for, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled maintenance rounds.
On a laboratory or test-bench pneumatic rig, it conditions the bench air supply and gives fine manual control of test pressure between 0.05 and 0.9 MPa, read directly on the square bar gauge.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) to match your port and flow requirement; this unit is size 300 with 1/4 in NPT ports. Choose the drain: manual (this unit, giving the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa adjustment floor), automatic, or the differential-pressure default. Choose the filter grade: 40 um standard, or 5 um with code W for finer particulate. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar); this unit carries the embedded square gauge in bar, with an external round gauge available as an option. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. A mounting bracket is optional; this configuration is ordered without one.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated number, we do not quote a rated flow here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet figures and correct sizing before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not state a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number here. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct size for you before you order.
This configuration is ordered with a manual drain (code M): someone drains the bowl as part of routine checks. The alternatives in the GFR range are an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain (the default when no drain code is given). Note that the manual-drain version also allows the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa regulation range, while the automatic and differential-pressure versions start at 0.15 MPa.
