The AirTAC GFR30008MLJNWTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 5um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30008MLJNWTK is a GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single 300-size body with a 1/4 in NPT port. This configuration carries a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, the low-pressure regulator type for lower set-pressure duties, a built-in reverse/check valve, and no gauge or mounting bracket fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge and thread form (PT standard, G and NPT as order options). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

A fixture clamping circuit on a small press needs filtered air regulated to a gentle set pressure so soft jaws hold parts without marking them; the low-pressure regulator type and 5 um element fit that duty at a 1/4 in connection.
Blow-off nozzles along a packaging conveyor need clean, moisture-reduced air at a stable low setting; the filter section sheds water and fine particles while the regulator holds the nozzle pressure steady, and the check valve blocks backflow in the supply leg.
Analysers and sample-handling panels in a process lab want particulate-free air at a low, stable pressure; the 5 um grade, manual drain for scheduled maintenance, and low-pressure regulation suit a panel fed at 1/4 in.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port; larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. The 5 um element here suits points of use that need cleaner air than the 40 um standard grade. The manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain periodically rather than relying on an automatic or differential-pressure mechanism. The low-pressure regulator type is intended for lower set pressures; the exact adjustment range for this type is not published in our sheet, so confirm it with us. No gauge is fitted, so add an external gauge if a set-pressure indication is needed on site.
Flow for this family is published only as curves, not as a single rated number, so send us your flow and pressure conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order. Thread here is NPT as an ordered option; PT is the standard thread form, and G (BSPP) is also available. A mounting bracket can be ordered for this family if the installation needs one.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or l/min number. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code selects the manual drain bowl: collected condensate is emptied by opening the drain by hand on a scheduled basis, instead of an automatic or differential-pressure drain doing it for you. It is a straightforward choice for panels that are visited regularly; if you prefer self-draining, ask us about the automatic-drain variant of the same series.
