The AirTAC GFR30010 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30010MJC1TK is a size 300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is threaded NPT3/8 (3/8 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and drains condensate manually, so an operator opens the bowl drain during routine checks. Pressure is set and read on a round MPa gauge, and the fitted reverse (check) valve holds the downstream setting if upstream supply is interrupted. No mounting bracket is included with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drain, a 5 um element option (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning on a CNC machining centre: clean, dried air filtered at 40 um and a stable regulated supply to the tool changer, clamps and air blast lines, with the check valve holding the setting if shop supply dips.
Feeding cylinders and pneumatic grippers on a carton packaging line: the filter section keeps moisture and debris out of the valves while the regulator sets a consistent working pressure for repeatable case erecting and sealing strokes.
Conditioning and regulation at the service manifold of a robotic welding cell, protecting torch cleaning stations, weld gun clamps and air motors from water carry-over, with the manual drain checked during scheduled cell maintenance.
Start with the port step: size 300 with a 3/8 in NPT port suits lines plumbed at 3/8 in, and larger sizes carry more flow - match the size to the demand rather than upsizing blindly. Choose the drain to suit attendance: manual (this code) needs an operator to drain, automatic drains itself, and differential-pressure drains on load change. The standard 40 um element covers general plant air; specify the 5 um W option where finer filtration is needed. Gauges are available square (embedded) or round, scaled in MPa, psi or bar, and threads come as PT (standard), G or NPT - order the option you need. Brackets are optional. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of your equipment, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code selects the manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by opening the drain when an operator chooses, typically during routine checks. If you cannot guarantee regular attention, the automatic (A) or differential-pressure drain options drain without operator input - just order that code variant.
