GFR30010AC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8

The AirTAC GFR30010AC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR30010AC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8

The GFR30010AC2T is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without operator attention, a 40 um filter element, and a round pressure gauge with a psi scale. Downstream pressure is adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20 to 130 psi), the range that applies to the automatic-drain version, with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and a working temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl on this size is polycarbonate, and a mounting bracket is included.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and a low-pressure type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
2Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR30010AC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Is Used

precision_manufacturing

CNC machining centre air supply

Feeding clean, regulated air to a machining centre's pneumatic tool changers, clamps and coolant nozzles, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the supply between shifts.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line cylinder actuation

Supplying filtered, pressure-regulated air to the cylinders and grippers on a carton-forming and sealing conveyor, with the psi gauge giving operators a local setpoint check.

factory

Automated assembly cell

Regulating air to pick-and-place units and part-clamping fixtures in an assembly cell, where stable downstream pressure keeps cycle sequences repeating the same way.

Is the GFR30010AC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 the Right Unit?

Size and port set the capacity: this unit is size 300 with a 3/8 in NPT port; step up to size 400 or 600 where demand is greater. Drain choice matters: automatic (this unit) suits unattended duty, manual suits periodic checks, and differential-pressure drains on pressure drop. The filter grade is 40 um standard; choose 5 um (code W) where finer protection is needed. Gauges are embedded square or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard, with G and NPT as order options; this unit is ordered with NPT. A bracket is included here.

Flow for the GFR300 is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR30010AC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet figures on request.

This unit is ordered with an automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate without operator attention. The GFR family is also available with manual or differential-pressure drains, and the regulator adjustment range depends on the drain type, so tell us your duty and we will confirm the right version.
