The AirTAC GFR30010ALJC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body, so one component cleans the air and holds your downstream pressure where the circuit needs it. This configuration is the 300 size with a G3/8 (BSPP) port, a 5 um filter element for finer protection than the standard 40 um grade, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without anyone opening the bowl, and the low-pressure regulator type for circuits set below the standard range. It is supplied with an external round gauge reading in psi, and without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds cleaned, regulated air to the stopper and pusher cylinders along a bottling conveyor, with the automatic drain handling condensate on a line that runs unattended through shifts.
Prepares air for pneumatic actuator supply on a treatment-plant valve skid, where the 5 um element protects pilot circuits and the low-pressure regulator holds the modest setting those actuators need.
Supplies filtered, regulated air to the clamping and sealing stations of a carton packaging machine, with the psi gauge giving operators a direct local reading at the setpoint.
Start with the size and port: the 300 series steps up from the 200 series in both port size and flow capacity, and this unit carries a G3/8 port in G (BSPP) thread - PT is the catalogue standard, with G and NPT available as order options. Choose the drain to suit maintenance: automatic (as here) suits unattended duty, manual suits periodic checks, and differential-pressure is the default. Pick the 5 um element over the standard 40 um when downstream components need finer protection. The round psi gauge is fitted here; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Note that this is the low-pressure regulator type, so have us confirm the exact adjustment range on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Ask us to confirm the datasheet and check the curve against your required flow before you order - we will do that on request.
The A in the code means the bowl drains itself: collected condensate is expelled automatically instead of waiting for someone to open a manual drain. The GFR300 is also available with a manual drain or the differential-pressure default, and with the standard 40 um element instead of the 5 um grade fitted here - tell us which combination you need and we will confirm the matching code.
