GFR30010JC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in, 5 um

The AirTAC GFR30010JC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR30010JC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in, 5 um

The AirTAC GFR30010JC1WT is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has 3/8 in NPT ports, the optional 5 um filter element (code W, instead of the standard 40 um), a differential-pressure drain, a round pressure gauge with MPa scale, and no mounting bracket (code J). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 300 size. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulating range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet details for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR300G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
10Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
JSupplied without bracket.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
1Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
WFiltering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Is the GFR30010JC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in, 5 um the Right Unit?

Size and port set the air capacity: the 300 size with 3/8 in NPT ports sits mid-range in the GFR line between the 200 and 400 frames, so step up or down a frame if your line needs more or less air. The other decodable choices are drain type (differential-pressure as here, automatic with code A, or manual with code M), filter grade (5 um as here with code W, or the standard 40 um), gauge style and scale (a round MPa gauge is fitted here; the embedded square gauge and psi or bar scales are alternatives), thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options) and bracket (omitted with code J). Because rated flow is published only as curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR30010JC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in, 5 um FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow curve and correct sizing from the datasheet on request.

The W in the code specifies the optional 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um, for finer protection of downstream equipment. The drain is the differential-pressure type (the default), which discharges collected condensate when the pressure differential across the element rises. Automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are available to order.
