The AirTAC GFR30010JC2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 5um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body, so one 300-size unit both cleans the air and holds a set downstream pressure. This configuration is the 3/8 in (G3/8, BSPP) port size with a 5 um filter element for finer dirt and condensate capture, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds the polycarbonate bowl automatically as flow passes through, a round external gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve that holds the downstream setting if upstream supply is interrupted. Supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator set range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line runs from size 200 up to 600, with larger ports and higher flow capacity at each step, and can be ordered with 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual draining, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, a low-pressure regulator, PT, G or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds the tool-clamp and chip-clearing cylinders on a CNC machining centre: the 5 um element keeps fine contamination out of the clamping valves while the regulator holds a steady clamp pressure and the check valve keeps the clamp held if shop air dips.
Supplies the pusher and diverter cylinders on a carton packaging conveyor, where the 5 um grade protects the directional valves from wear and the differential-pressure drain clears condensate through multi-shift running without operator attention.
Conditions the air feeding spray guns and air-assisted applicators in a finishing booth: the 5 um element removes water and particulate that would otherwise blemish the finish, and the regulator sets a stable, repeatable gun pressure in psi on the round gauge.
Start with the port step: 300 size in 3/8 in suits lines where the 1/4 in step of size 200 would restrict supply - match the size to the flow your circuit needs and we will confirm the curve figures before you order. Choose the element: 40 um is the standard grade, while this unit's 5 um (code W) element gives finer protection for valves and cylinders that need cleaner air. Drain choice matters: differential-pressure draining (fitted here) needs no operator attention and no electrical supply, automatic draining suits intermittent-flow lines, and manual draining is the simplest but relies on someone opening the drain. The round psi gauge is external and readable at the wall of the unit; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. Thread is G (BSPP) here - PT is the catalogue standard and NPT is available to order. A check valve is built into this unit; if you do not need downstream pressure retention, the version without it (no K) is the choice. Brackets are optional - this one ships without, so plan a rigid connection or order a bracketed variant.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated number, so there is no one figure we can honestly quote. Send us your line pressure and the flow your circuit needs and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curve on request before you order.
The 5 um element (code W) captures finer particles and more condensate carryover than the standard 40 um grade, which suits downstream valves, cylinders and guns that need cleaner air. The differential-pressure drain uses the flow through the unit to bleed the bowl automatically - no timer, no operator, no power - and the built-in check valve holds your set pressure if the upstream supply drops.
