The AirTAC GFR30015ALJC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 5um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30015ALJC2WTK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This configuration is built for a 1/2 in NPT port, carries the fine 5 um filter element (code W) instead of the standard 40 um, and drains condensate automatically, so the bowl empties itself without manual attention. It is the low-pressure type (code L) for circuits set below standard regulator range, it comes with the external round gauge on a psi scale instead of the embedded square gauge, and a reverse/check valve (code K) is fitted. No mounting bracket is included (code J). Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT, G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge style and scale, and bracket options. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds a clamping circuit on a machining or assembly fixture that holds workpieces at a reduced set pressure, with the 5 um element protecting the clamp valves and the automatic drain keeping condensate out of an unattended cell.
Conditions and regulates the pilot air feeding positioners and actuator solenoids on a process line, where fine 5 um filtration and a stable low set pressure protect sensitive control components.
Supplies the air jets and hold-down cylinders on a bottling or packaging conveyor, with the reverse/check valve holding downstream pressure and the round psi gauge letting operators set and verify the low working pressure at a glance.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in NPT port; larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. This example takes the 5 um element - pick it where downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer filtration than the standard 40 um; keep 40 um for general plant air. Drain choice matters: automatic drain (fitted here) suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations, manual drain suits regularly serviced points, and the differential-pressure drain is the catalogue default. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, on MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit has the round gauge on psi. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) is also an order option. A bracket can be ordered if you need panel fixing - this one omits it (code J). One honest note on sizing: flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, and as a low-pressure type the exact regulation range is not in the published sheet either - send us your line pressure and demand and we will confirm both against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line demand and working pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curve for this 1/2 in NPT, 5 um configuration on request before you order.
Both are decode choices in the model code. The A position selects the automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate on its own - useful where the unit is mounted away from daily checks; the catalogue default is a differential-pressure drain, and a manual drain is also available. The W position selects the 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um, for finer protection of downstream equipment. Both can be ordered differently on other GFR300 units.
