The AirTAC GFR30015MJC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30015MJC1WT is a size-300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has 1/2 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (code W, finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a round pressure gauge with MPa scale, and no mounting bracket. With a manual drain, the bowl is emptied by hand, and the regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and with or without a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the pneumatic clamps, tool-change cylinders and air blast lines of a CNC machining centre, where the 5 um element protects fine valve spools and the round MPa gauge gives the setter a clear setpoint.
Conditioning the air to spray guns in an automotive refinish booth: the 5 um filtration keeps water and particulate out of the finish, while the regulator holds a steady atomising pressure that the painter sets once per shift.
Supplying the stoppers, pushers and divert cylinders on a carton packaging conveyor, where a single body combines water and dirt removal with the regulated pressure the cylinder valves need, and the manual drain is emptied during the daily clean-down.
Start with the size and port: GFR comes in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, stepping up in port size (this unit is 1/2 in NPT) and flow capacity, so match the size to your line's air demand. Then choose the drain: manual (this unit) suits installations where the bowl can be emptied on a maintenance round; automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended or hard-to-reach positions. Choose the filter grade - 40 um standard or 5 um (W) for finer protection such as instrument or coating work - and the gauge: embedded square or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales (this unit has a round MPa gauge). Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; a bracket is optional.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow figure. Send us your air demand and line conditions and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not state a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain bowl: condensate is released by hand rather than automatically. That suits positions visited on a maintenance round. If the unit will sit unattended or is hard to reach, choose the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain variant instead - note that the drain type also sets the regulator adjustment range: 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) for manual drain, 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for automatic and differential-pressure drains.
