The AirTAC GFR400-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in PT, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-10 is a 400-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is threaded PT3/8 (3/8 in), is the low-pressure type, and carries the standard 40 um filter element with a differential-pressure drain on its PC (polycarbonate) bowl. A square pressure gauge scaled in psi is fitted, a reverse (check) valve is included, and the unit comes with a mounting bracket for secure panel or frame installation.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of drain types, a 5 um element option, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads as order options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for the valve-and-cylinder circuits on a cartoning line: the 40 um element strips water and debris before the directional valves, and the low-pressure regulator holds a gentle set pressure for delicate folding and tucking motions.
Feeding a workholding clamp circuit on a CNC cell, where filtered air protects the clamping valves and a stable, lower regulated pressure prevents marking of finished surfaces while the psi gauge gives the operator a local setpoint readout.
Conditioning the supply to looms and winding heads that run on low set pressures: the low-pressure type matches the modest circuit requirement, the check valve holds the setting against upstream dips, and the differential-pressure drain clears condensate through the shift.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) so the port matches the air demand of the circuit; this 400 size carries a 3/8 in PT port. Choose the drain type for the bowl: differential-pressure (this unit, drains on the pressure differential), automatic (A) for unattended drainage, or manual (M) where an operator drains at intervals. The standard element is 40 um; specify W for the 5 um grade if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. This is the low-pressure (L) type, intended for circuits set below the standard regulator range - ask us to confirm the exact adjustment range before ordering. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order), bracket and the reverse/check valve (code K, fitted here) are all decodable from the suffix. Because rated flow is published only as curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your inlet pressure, set pressure and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted at the regulator, so order the version without K if your circuit does not need one. L means this is the low-pressure type of regulator; its exact adjustment range is not published in the standard table, so ask us to confirm it for your setpoint before ordering.
