The AirTAC GFR400-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 with Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-10T is a size 400 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, a round pressure gauge reading in bar, a built-in reverse (check) valve, and a mounting bracket. The polycarbonate bowl suits this size, and the standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options, automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, and a 5 um element (code W) where finer filtration is needed. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing or any datasheet figure for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaning and regulating the shop-air feed to a CNC machining centre, so spindles, tool changers and pneumatic clamps see dry, particulate-free air at a steady set pressure.
Conditioning the air feeding cylinders and diverters on a packaging or cartoning conveyor line, where the check valve holds the downstream setting and the differential drain keeps condensate moving out during production.
A filtered, regulated take-off point on a factory air main serving assembly cells and air tools, with the round bar gauge giving operators a local pressure reading at the point of use.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order. Drain type is a real choice: differential-pressure (as fitted here) drains with flow, automatic drains regardless of flow, and manual requires operator action. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauge scale can be MPa, psi or bar - this unit has a round gauge reading bar. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options, and a bracket is included with this configuration.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
This unit has the differential-pressure drain, which discharges condensate from the polycarbonate bowl as air flows through the unit. Automatic (code A) and manual (code M) drains are catalogue options on the GFR family if your duty cycle or maintenance routine calls for a different drain type.
