The AirTAC GFR400-10T AirTAC Low-Pressure Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-10T is a size-400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration has NPT 3/8 in ports, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. It is the low-pressure (L) type, intended for circuits that run below standard line pressure; the exact adjustment range for the low-pressure type is not published in the catalogue, so we confirm it against the datasheet on request. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the polycarbonate bowl suits this size (only size 600 uses an aluminium alloy bowl). No gauge is fitted and no mounting bracket is supplied with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with 1/8 in to 1 in ports, and each size can be ordered with a different thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options), drain type, 5 um element (code W), gauge and scale, reverse/check valve and bracket. Published flow data appears only as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm flow and any other datasheet figure for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to carton-sealing and wrapping machines that run on low-pressure circuits, with the differential-pressure drain keeping condensate out of the valves between shifts.
Supplying clean, regulated air to fixture clamps and hold-down cylinders on a machining or assembly cell, where the combined filter-regulator body saves panel space over separate units.
Conditioning the air feeding looms and winders that operate at reduced line pressure, protecting downstream solenoid valves and cylinders from water and particulate carryover.
Size 400 with 3/8 in ports sits in the middle of the GFR range; step up to size 600 or down to size 300 if your air demand points the other way, and match the port thread to your piping (this unit is NPT; PT is the catalogue standard and G is also orderable). Choose the drain: differential-pressure (as here) needs no attention at moderate duty, automatic (code A) empties the bowl on its own, and manual (code M) gives you a button to press. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify 5 um (code W) where finer particulate removal matters. A gauge is not fitted to this code - order a gauge variant with MPa, psi or bar scale if you need a local reading - and no bracket is included, so plan your mounting accordingly. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow figures from the datasheet, along with the adjustment range for this low-pressure type, before you order.
The N in the code means no gauge is fitted, so you would read pressure from a downstream gauge or order a gauge-equipped variant instead. Gauge options on GFR units include an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales to choose from.
