The AirTAC GFR400-15 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 with Round Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-15 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This 400-size unit carries a PT1/2 (1/2 in) PT thread, a 40 um standard filter element, a differential-pressure drain and a round external gauge reading in psi. A reverse/check valve is fitted and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket. Regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, filter grades of 40 um standard or 5 um (code W), automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options to order. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet details for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to the clamping cylinders on a machining cell, holding a set downstream pressure so workpieces are gripped consistently across the shift.
Filtering and regulating the air feed to the taping and flap-folding cylinders of a carton sealing machine, with the check valve helping hold the downstream circuit when supply pressure dips.
Water and particulate removal plus pressure setting at the air drop feeding spray guns in a finishing booth, where clean, steady air is part of the daily setup.
Step up through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 as your flow demand grows; this 400 size carries a PT1/2 port. Choose the drain type: differential-pressure (this unit), automatic, or manual. Filter grade is 40 um standard here; specify code W for 5 um where finer filtration is needed. Gauge scales come in MPa, psi or bar - this code carries a round external gauge with a psi scale, while the embedded square gauge is the standard fitting. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. Brackets are optional and this unit is supplied without one. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet figures for you on request.
C2 specifies the external round gauge with a psi scale (the embedded square gauge is the standard fitting, with MPa, psi or bar scales available), and K means a reverse/check valve is fitted. The 40 um filter element and the differential-pressure drain are the defaults for this series.
