The AirTAC GFR400-15AJC2K AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-15AJC2K is a size-400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is fitted with a 1/2 in PT port, a 40 um standard filter element, an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate without manual attention, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. A reverse/check valve is fitted, and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl keeps the condensate level visible at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, a 5 um optional element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT thread options, and low-pressure or reverse-valve variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to a bench or production pneumatic press, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the valve stack during continuous cycling.
Point-of-use air preparation for packaging machinery cylinders and grippers, where the 40 um element protects seals and the regulator holds consistent actuation pressure.
A 1/2 in branch-line drop on a factory air ring, filtering and regulating supply to a work cell, with the psi round gauge giving operators a local pressure readout.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 in PT port, one step up from size 300 (3/8 in) and one below size 600 (3/4 in). Drain type is a real operating choice: the automatic drain fitted here handles condensate discharge on its own, while manual and differential-pressure drains are available on other codes. The 40 um element fitted here is the standard grade; specify code W for the 5 um grade where finer particulate removal is needed. The round gauge fitted here reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options, and brackets can be added on request.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, we do not quote a rated flow number. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv, l/min or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet flow curves and correct sizing on request before you order.
The A in the code specifies an automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without manual intervention - useful on lines that run unattended. The K specifies a fitted reverse/check valve, which holds the downstream setting if upstream supply is interrupted. Other drain and valve options are available on different codes in the same series.
