The AirTAC GFR400-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 with Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-15T is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 1/2 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, and a fitted round pressure gauge reading in bar. The standard-type regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the unit is supplied with a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um element option (code W), gauge styles and scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and the full datasheet for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning on a cartoning or wrapping line: the 1/2 in NPT port feeds a machine's main air drop, the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale, and the regulator holds a steady setting for the machine's cylinders.
Supplying conditioned air to pneumatic conveyor gate and diverter actuators, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate off the valve seats and the bar gauge lets maintenance verify the set pressure at a glance.
Feeding clamps and swing cylinders on an assembly fixture: the filter regulator sits ahead of the fixture's directional valves, delivering clean, regulated air at the pressure the fixture was designed around.
Start with the port and size: this unit steps up to 1/2 in NPT in the size 400 body, so match it to the line diameter and the flow your circuit needs. Choose the drain next: the differential-pressure drain fitted here is the low-maintenance default, while automatic drain (code A) suits unattended installations and manual drain (code M) suits intermittent duty. The standard 40 um element protects most actuators and valves; specify the 5 um W option where finer protection is required. Gauge style and scale are selectable (embedded square or external round; MPa, psi or bar), and PT, G or NPT threads are order options - this unit is the NPT version. A bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your line size and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for your application before you order.
The C3 code in GFR40015C3T specifies an external round gauge with a bar scale. The embedded square gauge is the standard arrangement, and gauges are offered with MPa, psi or bar scales - so a different style or scale can be selected as an order option.
