The AirTAC GFR40010AC3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010AC3T is an AirTAC GFR400 series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body, with a 3/8 in NPT port. This configuration carries the standard 40 um filter element, an automatic drain that bleeds collected condensate from the PC bowl without manual attention, and a round pressure gauge reading in bar. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in size 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic, manual), a 5 um element option (code W), gauge and scale options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the point where the main ring main drops to an assembly cell, it removes water carryover from the compressors and holds a steady regulated pressure to the cell's air tools and fixtures.
Mounted ahead of a machine's valve manifold and control panel, it cleans the supply and sets the pressure the panel's solenoid valves and actuators were designed around, with the bar gauge giving the operator a local setpoint readout.
Fitted on the feed to conveyor gate cylinders, clamps and pushers, it keeps condensate out of the cylinders and holds regulation steady so gate and stop timing does not drift through the shift.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in port sits in the middle of the GFR range: step up to size 600 or down to 300/200 depending on the pipe run and the flow your line needs - we confirm the flow curves against your demand on request. The automatic drain on this unit suits points that are hard to reach or run unattended; choose manual drain where you prefer a deliberate, visible dump, or the differential-pressure default where drain actuation on pressure drop is preferred. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; specify the 5 um W option where finer protection is needed. This unit is ordered with the round gauge on a bar scale; embedded square gauges and MPa or psi scales are alternatives, and PT or G threads can be ordered instead of NPT. A mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curves before you order.
The A in the code selects the automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate from the bowl on its own - useful for unattended or hard-to-reach positions. The same unit can be ordered with a manual drain or with the differential-pressure drain default, and with a 5 um element (code W) if you need finer filtration than the standard 40 um.
