The AirTAC GFR40010LC1TK AirTAC Low-Pressure Filter Regulator 3/8 NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010LC1TK is a size-400 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is the low-pressure type with a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically, a round MPa gauge fitted, a reverse/check valve to hold downstream pressure, and a mounting bracket included. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um (W) filter element where finer filtration is needed, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures against your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding spray guns on a finishing line, where air must be cleaned of water and particulate and held at a gentle, stable low pressure so the coating pattern stays consistent.
Conditioning the air that drives carton-forming and sealing cylinders on a packaging line, with the check valve holding the downstream circuit if upstream supply dips.
Supplying filtered, low-pressure regulated air to gripper and pick-and-place cylinders on an assembly cell, where clean dry air protects seals and soft seals in the tooling.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port; step up or down (200/300/400/600) if your line needs a different connection or capacity. Choose the drain: differential-pressure (as fitted here) for automatic bleeding, automatic (A) for continuous condensate discharge, or manual (M) where you want to drain by hand. The standard element is 40 um; specify W for 5 um where finer filtration matters. This is the low-pressure (L) type, so it suits circuits regulated well below standard ranges - confirm the exact range with us before ordering. Gauges come as an embedded square unit or an external round unit in MPa, psi or bar scales; this code carries a round MPa gauge. Threads are PT as standard with G and NPT as order options, and the K code here means a reverse/check valve is fitted.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
K means a reverse/check valve is fitted. It holds pressure in the downstream circuit if the upstream supply is lost, which is useful on circuits where a sudden pressure collapse would drop a workpiece or interrupt a cycle. Units without the K code are supplied without the valve.
