The AirTAC GFR40010LC3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010LC3TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady. This size 400 unit is built with a 3/8 in NPT port, the low-pressure (L) regulator type, a 40 um standard filter element and a differential-pressure drain, the default drain option, which discharges collected condensate on pressure changes. A round gauge scaled in bar is fitted so operators can read and set the downstream pressure, a reverse/check valve (code K) holds the downstream circuit if the supply drops, and a mounting bracket is included. The polycarbonate bowl (size 400 bowls are PC; only size 600 uses aluminium alloy) lets you see the condensate level at a glance. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic (A) or manual (M) drains, a finer 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges scaled in MPa, psi or bar, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and with or without a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the air feeding gripper and capper cylinders on a beverage bottling line, with the fitted check valve holding the circuit's pressure through brief supply dips.
Conditioning shop air for a CNC fixture-clamping circuit, where the low-pressure regulator type suits a gentle clamp setting and the check valve guards the clamp if the main supply drops.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to spray guns in a finishing booth, where the 40 um element keeps water and debris out of the finish and the bar-scaled gauge lets operators set gun pressure.
The real choices in this family are all decodable from the code. Size (200/300/400/600) sets the port and the air capacity you can support - this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port. Drain type: differential-pressure (as fitted here), automatic (A) or manual (M). Filter grade: 40 um standard, 5 um with code W when finer protection is needed. Gauge: this model carries a round gauge scaled in bar; embedded square gauges and MPa or psi scales are the alternatives. Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard, while G (BSPP) and NPT (as here) are order options. A mounting bracket is included; a J code in the code removes it. Note that this is the low-pressure (L) regulator type, so its set-point range differs from the standard type - ask us to confirm the exact range before ordering. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow requirement and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your flow requirement and we will confirm the datasheet curve for the GFR400 in the 3/8 in size against your application before you order.
K marks a fitted reverse/check valve. If the upstream supply fails or falls away, the valve holds the downstream pressure so your circuit does not lose its setting. It is an option on GFR units; this model includes it. The code also shows L for the low-pressure regulator type, C for the round bar-scaled gauge and T for the NPT thread.
