The AirTAC GFR40010LNT AirTAC Low-Pressure Filter Regulator 3/8 NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010LNT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit is configured with a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element rises. The trailing L marks the low-pressure regulator variant, and the N means no pressure gauge is fitted; a mounting bracket is included. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with optional 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or manual drains, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and gauge choices by scale. Flow figures for this series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machining fixture that holds workpieces with air clamps, this unit filters the shop supply and holds a reduced, low-pressure setting so delicate parts are gripped without marking.
Feeding air knives that clear dust and film from cartons on a packaging conveyor, the unit strips water and particles from the supply and regulates the line at a gentle setting for label-safe blowing.
On benchtop laboratory automation with small pneumatic actuators, the unit cleans the compressed air and regulates it at a low, stable setting so gentle motions stay repeatable.
Start with the port step: this unit is 3/8 in NPT in size 400; step up to size 600 or down to 300/200 if your piping or expected air demand differs. Choose the drain to match maintenance access: differential-pressure (this unit, self-acting), automatic, or manual. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify W for 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer protection. The L code selects the low-pressure regulator variant - its adjustment range is not published in the standard tables, so confirm it with us. No gauge is fitted on this code; gauge type and scale can be specified on other variants. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) is an order option. A mounting bracket is included.
Because flow for this series is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
L selects the low-pressure regulator variant, whose adjustment range is not published in the standard tables - confirm it with us before ordering. N means no pressure gauge is fitted; gauge options with different scales are available on other variants. The code also decodes as: 400 size, 3/8 in NPT port, 40 um element, differential-pressure drain, bracket included.
