The AirTAC GFR40010MJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010MJC2T is a GFR-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady. This size 400 unit has 3/8 in NPT ports, a polycarbonate bowl with manual drain, a 40 um filter element, and a standard regulator adjustable from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7 to 130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the round gauge fitted reads in psi. No mounting bracket and no reverse/check valve are included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic or differential-pressure draining, a 5 um element (code W), G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of PT, alternative gauge scales, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to a workshop pneumatic press: the 40 um element keeps water and swarf out of the valve stack while the regulator holds the pressure the tooling was set up for.
Steady pressure to cylinders and grippers on a packaging conveyor; the manual drain bowl is bled at shift start so accumulated condensate does not carry into the actuators.
Point-of-use conditioning ahead of a CNC machining centre's air-operated components; the psi gauge gives operators a local pressure reading without hunting for a plant-wide gauge.
Size 400 with 3/8 in NPT ports is the step to take when your line needs more flow than a size 300 can pass - match the port to the air main and let us check the flow curve against your demand. Drain is manual here: the bowl is bled periodically, so it suits attended installations; automatic or differential-pressure draining is available for unattended duty. The 40 um element is the standard grade; order code W for 5 um where valves or instruments need finer protection. The gauge reads psi; MPa and bar scales exist, and threads can be ordered as PT (standard) or G (BSPP). Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against the datasheet before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow curve and full datasheet figures on request.
The M in the code means the polycarbonate bowl has a manual drain: accumulated condensate is bled periodically, which suits attended installations. The same GFR400 body can be ordered with automatic or differential-pressure draining if you prefer unattended operation.
