The AirTAC GFR40010MLJC3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010MLJC3TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the 400 size with a 3/8 in NPT port, the low-pressure regulator type, a manual drain on the PC (polycarbonate) bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, an external round gauge with a bar scale, a reverse/check valve fitted, and no mounting bracket. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um element option (code W), gauge and scale choices, and an optional reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying filtered, regulated air to pneumatic clamps and fixtures on a machining cell where the circuit runs at reduced pressure and the low-pressure regulator type matches the setpoint, with the bar gauge giving a local readout.
Conditioning air for pick-and-place cylinders and diverters on a packaging conveyor, with the manual drain bled at shift start-up and the 40 um element keeping debris out of the valve train.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to loom and winding machine cylinders on a mill floor, where the fitted reverse/check valve backs up the downstream circuit if the supply side dips.
Start with size and port: the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes step up in port and flow capacity, so match the 3/8 in NPT port on this unit against your line size and air demand. Drain type is a real choice: this unit is manual drain, bled by hand on a schedule, while automatic and differential-pressure drains suit installations that cannot rely on manual draining. The 40 um element is standard and a 5 um element (code W) is available where finer filtration is needed. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round bar-scale gauge. Thread here is NPT; PT is the standard and G is also an order option. Brackets are optional and this unit has none. One honest note: flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Ask us and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve against your application before you order.
This unit has a manual drain: the bowl is bled by hand on a schedule. If unattended draining is needed, the same GFR400 body is offered with automatic or differential-pressure drain - tell us which suits your installation. Note this is the low-pressure regulator type; its adjustment range is not published as a single figure, so confirm it with us.
