The AirTAC GFR40010MLJF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010MLJF2 is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body for compressed air. It removes water and particulate down to 40 um, drains the bowl manually, and regulates downstream pressure in the low-pressure type configuration. The 3/8 in PT ports suit branch lines and machine supply drops in the 400 size class, and the fitted square gauge reads in psi so operators can set and check line pressure at a glance. The PC (polycarbonate) bowl keeps the fluid level and drain visible, and this version ships without a mounting bracket and without a reverse/check valve.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filter grade, square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and optional brackets. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the clamp cylinders on a bench-mounted pneumatic press, where the operator sets line pressure at the square psi gauge and drains the bowl during shift checks.
Conditioning the air supply to conveyor-mounted diverters and pusher cylinders on a packaging line, keeping water and 40 um-plus particulate out of the valves while holding a low set pressure.
A 3/8 in branch drop on the plant air ring main serving an assembly cell, combining water removal and low-pressure regulation in one body instead of a separate filter and regulator pair.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 400 with 3/8 in PT ports, one step up from the 300 series 1/4 in class - step up when your line flow demand outgrows the smaller body, and match the thread to your existing fittings (PT standard, G or NPT to order). Drain choice matters: the manual drain here means an operator opens the bowl drain periodically, so pick the automatic or differential-pressure drain variant instead if the unit will sit in an unattended position. Filter grade is the 40 um standard; specify the 5 um (W) grade only where downstream components need finer particulate protection. The gauge is the embedded square type reading psi; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. This is the low-pressure type, so confirm the adjustment range against your set pressure with us before ordering - the exact low-pressure range is not published on the sheet we work from. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and the equipment you are feeding, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code selects the manual drain: an operator opens the bowl drain to release collected water. It suits positions that are checked regularly. For units mounted where nobody passes by, choose the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain variant instead.
