The AirTAC GFR40015MLC2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40015MLC2TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body. This is the 400 size with a 1/2 in NPT port, fitted with a manual drain, the 40 um standard filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. A round external gauge with a psi scale is included, a reverse (check) valve is fitted, and the mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The bowl on this 400 size is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filter grades, and a choice of gauge scales. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying filtered, regulated air to pneumatic clamps and fixtures on an assembly line that runs at reduced pressure, with the psi gauge giving operators a direct line reading.
Feeding clean, regulated pilot air to large process control valves and positioners on a skid, with the fitted check valve holding the circuit if supply pressure dips.
Point-of-use conditioning for packaging and sealing machines, combining water and particle removal with low-pressure regulation in a single 1/2 in body.
Choose the size by port and duty: this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port; the smaller 200/300 sizes suit lighter circuits and 600 moves more air, but flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so let us confirm the sizing against your application before you order. This configuration has a manual drain - condensate is drained from the bowl by hand at intervals; automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drains are available in the same size. The filter grade is the 40 um standard; specify W for the 5 um grade if finer filtration is needed. The round gauge reads in psi, and MPa or bar scales can be ordered instead. The T in the code sets the NPT thread; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is an order option. A bracket is included, and the K code adds a reverse (check) valve.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code sets a manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand at intervals. Automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drains are available in the same 400 size if you would rather not drain manually - ask us for the equivalent code.
