The AirTAC GFR40015MLJF1TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
GFR40015MLJF1TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration has a 1/2 in NPT port, a manual-drain PC bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa and a reverse/check valve fitted. No mounting bracket is included (code J).
It is a genuine AirTAC part, rated to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) maximum inlet and -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The GFR range spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options for drain type, 5 um filtration (code W), gauge style and scale, PT, G or NPT thread, and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm datasheet numbers on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the air feeding carton-sealing and wrapping machines on a packaging line, with the 40 um element protecting downstream directional valves and the square gauge giving a local pressure check.
Conditioning supply air to a pneumatic clamp or small press fixture, where the fitted reverse/check valve helps hold the regulated downstream pressure if upstream supply dips.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to stopper, pusher and diverter cylinders along a conveyor line, with the manual-drain bowl bled during scheduled line checks.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port suits circuits plumbed at 1/2 in; step up or down a size if your air demand differs, and we will confirm sizing against the published flow curves before you order. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type (code L); its exact adjustment range is not published in our sheet, so confirm it with us against your working pressure before ordering. The manual drain (code M) needs periodic hand bleeding of the PC bowl - choose the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain code if the unit is not visited regularly. Filtration is the 40 um standard element; order the W code for 5 um. The embedded square gauge reads MPa; an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar is optional. Thread here is NPT; PT is the catalogue standard and G(BSPP) is available to order. The J code means no mounting bracket is supplied.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
L marks the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published in our data sheet, so confirm it with us against your working pressure. M means a manual drain: you bleed collected water from the PC bowl by hand, or order the A (automatic) or differential-pressure drain code if the unit is not visited regularly.
