The AirTAC GFR40015MLJF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40015MLJF2 is an AirTAC GFR400-series filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air through a 40 um element, then regulates downstream pressure with its low-pressure type regulator. This configuration has a PT1/2 (1/2 in) port with PT thread, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a built-in square gauge scaled in psi, and no mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um optional element (code W), MPa/psi/bar gauge scales and G or NPT thread variants. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated low-pressure air to the cylinders and actuators on a carton-forming or wrapping machine, with the psi gauge giving the operator a direct setpoint readout at the machine.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to a fixture-clamping circuit on a machining cell, where the low-pressure regulator holds a gentle, repeatable clamp force and the 40 um element keeps debris out of the clamping valves.
Mounted as a point-of-use unit on a 1/2 inch drop feeding looms or winders, removing condensed water from the shop-air line and letting the line supervisor dial in the pressure the machines were set up for.
Step through the decodable choices: pick the size and port (200/300/400/600, 1/8 to 1 inch) against the pipe and the flow your line needs; choose the drain - manual here, but automatic or differential-pressure are available; choose the element grade, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) for finer filtration; and set the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order). Brackets are optional on GFR units. One honest note: AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your application - line pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop - and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet before you order.
The M in the code means condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by hand, which suits stations that are checked regularly. If you prefer, the same GFR400 body is available with an automatic drain (code A) or a differential-pressure drain (blank) so the bowl empties without operator attention.
