The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/4 in PT, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a 600-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/4 in PT port, standard 40 um filtration, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the bowl is high enough, so no manual draining routine is needed. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the fitted round gauge reads in psi. Because this is the 600 size, the bowl is aluminium alloy rather than polycarbonate, and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or manual drain, G (BSPP) or NPT thread in place of the PT standard, alternative gauge scales in MPa or bar, and a reverse/check valve. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, pressure-set air to spray booths and air-driven equipment on a vehicle refinishing line, where water and pipe scale must be stripped out before the air reaches the guns and the working pressure held steady across a shift.
Conditions the air feeding pneumatic cylinders and grippers on a packaging conveyor, so the actuators that fold and seal cartons receive clean air at a fixed, repeatable pressure.
Prepares the air supply for pneumatic valve actuators on a beverage filling line, keeping particulate and condensate out of the valve package and holding the pressure the actuator manufacturer specifies.
Start with the port and size: the 600 size carries a 3/4 in PT port and suits lines with higher air demand, while 200/300/400 sizes step down to smaller ports. Match the filter grade to the duty: 40 um is standard for general plant air, and the 5 um (W) option is there when downstream equipment needs finer protection. Choose the drain to match maintenance practice: the differential-pressure drain on this unit needs no routine attention, the automatic (A) drain empties continuously, and the manual (M) drain is emptied by hand. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar) and this unit is supplied with a round psi gauge; PT is the standard thread with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options, and a bracket is included for mounting.
Because rated flow is published only as curves and not as a single figure, we cannot quote a flow number here. Send us your application's air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number. Tell us your application's air demand and we will confirm the flow curve and correct sizing from the datasheet on request.
The differential-pressure drain is the default on the GFR series: it discharges condensate automatically when the pressure drop across the bowl reaches a set level, so there is no daily draining task. If you prefer a fully automatic (A) or a hand-operated manual (M) drain, that is an orderable option on this family - just specify it when ordering.
