The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/4 in PT 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 600-size unit is fitted with a 3/4 in PT port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two catalogue grades), a manual drain on the bowl, and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi. It is the low-pressure type, and the bowl on size 600 is aluminium alloy. No mounting bracket is included with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is configurable by drain type, filter grade (40 um standard or 5 um), gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air feeding clamping cylinders on a CNC machining cell, where clean air and a stable, lower set pressure protect the clamp sequence. The 5 um element and square psi gauge let the operator see the setting at a glance.
Conditioning the air supply to diverters, pushers and gripper actuators along a packaging conveyor, combining water and particulate removal with pressure regulation in one 3/4 in unit instead of a separate filter and regulator.
Preparing supply air for a paint spray booth, where the low-pressure type regulator suits applications run at reduced settings and the 5 um grade helps keep finer contamination out of the air delivered to the spray equipment.
Start with size and port: 600 is the largest GFR size, and this unit carries a 3/4 in PT port, so match it against the air demand of the line - we can confirm the flow curve against your requirement before you order. Choose the drain: this unit is manual drain, which suits installations where an operator can bleed the bowl on a routine; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available if unattended draining is preferred. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer option versus the 40 um standard - pick it where downstream equipment is sensitive to finer particulate. The square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales exist, and an external round gauge is optional. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. No bracket is fitted with this code, but a bracket can be ordered.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so please ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves rather than a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Tell us your application and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve and sizing for you on request.
The M in the code GFR60020MLJF2W specifies a manual drain: collected water is emptied by hand from the aluminium alloy bowl. Choose manual drain where the unit is checked on a routine and you want the simplest arrangement; automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available in the same family for installations that must drain unattended.
