The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/4 in PT, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR600-20 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus downstream pressure regulation combined in one 3/4 in PT-port body. This size-600 configuration carries a manual drain, a 40 um standard filter element, an aluminium alloy bowl, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a standard regulator with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge scale and G/NPT thread options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaned and regulated air for carton sealers, case erectors and wrapping machines fed from a plant ring main, with the 3/4 in port matching the header drop.
Point-of-use conditioning ahead of pneumatic clamps, tool-change cylinders and air blast nozzles on machining centres, with the psi gauge set at the machine.
Regulated air for diverters, gate cylinders and stopper actuators on sorting and palletising conveyors, where the manual drain suits a supervised maintenance round.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is the size-600, 3/4 in PT version, the largest step in the GFR range. Drain type is a real choice: manual drain (this code) needs periodic bowl draining by hand, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without operator attention. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify code W for the 5 um element where finer protection is needed. The gauge here is the embedded square type reading psi; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread versions can be ordered instead of PT. A mounting bracket is included with this code. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate is emptied from the aluminium bowl by hand at intervals you set. Choose manual where a maintenance round exists; automatic or differential-pressure drains are the alternatives on other codes in the same series. Note that with a manual drain the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
