The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4, 5 um, MPa Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single 600-size body. This configuration carries a 3/4 in NPT port, a fine 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element rises, and an embedded square pressure gauge scaled in MPa. A reverse/check valve is fitted, holding downstream pressure if the upstream supply is lost, and the unit ships without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. At size 600 the drain bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaned and pressure-stabilised air for the tool-clamp and pallet-change actuators on a CNC machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting the machine's pilot valves from water and fine particulate.
A regulated air drop feeding the cylinder-driven flap, pusher and clamp stations on a carton packaging conveyor, where steady downstream pressure keeps cycle behaviour repeatable from shift to shift.
Filtered, regulated air for quarter-turn pneumatic actuators on a water-treatment valve skid, with the fitted check valve holding actuator pressure if the plant air supply drops.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow your line needs; this is the 600 size with a 3/4 in NPT thread, the largest in the family. Choose the 5 um element (this unit) when downstream equipment such as precision valves or instruments needs finer air than the 40 um standard element provides. The differential-pressure drain on this unit needs no day-to-day attention; pick automatic drain for unattended condensate removal or manual drain where you want hands-on control. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), PT vs G vs NPT thread, and the bracket option are all selectable when you order.
Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves and not as a single rated number, we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing figures against your required flow before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not state a flow number here. Tell us your operating pressure and required flow and we will confirm the datasheet figures and check the sizing for your application on request.
Code W selects the optional 5 um fine filtration instead of the 40 um standard element, for air feeding sensitive valves and instruments. Code K adds a reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure if upstream supply is lost. The drain is differential-pressure type: it discharges collected condensate automatically as the pressure drop across the element rises, with no manual draining needed under normal operation.
