The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/4, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a size-600 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a 3/4 in NPT port, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, the standard 40 um filter element, and an aluminium alloy bowl (size 600 bowls are aluminium alloy). It regulates from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and includes an embedded square gauge with MPa scale, a reverse/check valve, and a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of automatic, manual or differential-pressure drain, a 5 um optional filter grade, gauge scale options, and G or NPT thread variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the 3/4 in air drop feeding a production cell, it strips water and debris from the header supply and holds a steady regulated pressure to the cell's valves and cylinders, with the automatic drain clearing condensate unattended.
Mounted on the air supply to a packaging or conveyor line, it protects downstream actuators from moisture and particles while the regulator keeps line pressure consistent through shift-long cycling, and the check valve holds the setting against supply dips.
Fitted at the bench or maintenance-shop take-off on a 3/4 in line, it gives technicians clean, dry air at a set pressure for air tools and test rigs, with the MPa square gauge making set-and-check adjustments straightforward.
Start with the port step: size 600 with a 3/4 in port sits at the top of the GFR range, so match it to your line size and required flow - and because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Choose the drain type: this unit has an automatic drain, while manual and differential-pressure drains are also available in the family. The standard element is 40 um; a 5 um grade (code W) is offered where finer filtration is needed. The embedded square gauge here reads in MPa, with psi or bar scales and an external round gauge available as options. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is an order option. A mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and line conditions and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet on request before you order.
The A in the code GFR60020AF1TK specifies an automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate from the bowl without anyone opening it - useful where the unit is mounted out of easy reach. The family also offers manual drain (code M) and differential-pressure drain (blank) if you prefer a different drainage method.
