The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/4, Square Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size-600 unit has 3/4 in NPT ports, a 40 um standard filter element and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element rises. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, a square pressure gauge scaled in MPa is fitted, and a reverse/check valve is included to hold the downstream setting when the supply is interrupted. The bowl on this size-600 unit is aluminium alloy, and the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, optional 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or manual drain alternatives, psi or bar gauge scales, G or NPT thread options and a choice of bracket. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on a 3/4 in compressed-air distribution leg feeding a production hall, cleaning the air of water and scale and holding a steady regulated pressure for every downstream drop.
Feeding the pneumatic cylinders and air-actuated diverters on a packaging or conveyor line, where the 40 um element protects valves from particulate and the regulator keeps actuator speeds consistent.
Supplying machine tools and CNC peripherals that need clean, regulated air for clamping, tool-change and purge circuits, with the check valve holding the setting during supply dips.
Start with the port and size step: size 600 with 3/4 in NPT ports is the largest GFR frame, so match it to the pipe diameter and the flow your line needs, stepping up or down a size if the curve does not suit. Choose the drain: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain (default); automatic (A) or manual (M) versions can be ordered instead. The 40 um element is standard here; specify 5 um (W) if the application needs finer filtration. The square gauge fitted is scaled in MPa, with psi or bar scales available, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is NPT on this unit; G (BSPP) or the PT standard can be ordered. Note the J code: no mounting bracket is included, so plan the mounting accordingly. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for this exact unit before you order.
K means a reverse/check valve is fitted. It prevents reverse flow through the unit, so the regulated downstream pressure is held if the upstream supply drops or is shut off. Units without the K code do not include this valve.
