The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/4, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit has a 3/4 in PT port, an automatic drain (code A) that discharges condensate without manual attention, a 40 um filter element, and an aluminium alloy bowl. It is the low-pressure (L) type, and the code C2K adds an external round gauge with a psi scale plus a reverse (check) valve; code J means no mounting bracket is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual or differential-pressure drains, a finer 5 um (W) element, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, G or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Drying and cleaning nozzles ahead of labelling need air that is free of water and particulate and held at a reduced, stable pressure. This 3/4 in filter regulator conditions that supply at the point of use, and the automatic drain keeps condensate from being carried into the nozzles.
Large diaphragm-operated process valves often run their actuators on reduced pressure from the main header. This unit filters the pilot air and regulates it in one body, with the reverse (check) valve helping hold the downstream side if the supply dips.
Air conveyors feed containers on a film of low-pressure air, and the blowers upstream of them need clean, regulated supply air. The 3/4 in port suits the larger supply runs on these lines, and the 40 um element protects the distribution manifold from scale and rust particles.
Pick the size and port by the flow your line needs: sizes step 200, 300, 400 and 600, with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and larger sizes carry more flow. Drain type is a real choice: automatic (this unit, code A) drains on its own, manual (M) needs periodic attention, and differential-pressure (blank) is the default. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W for finer filtration. Gauges are the embedded square type as standard or an external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar; the thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options, and code J omits the mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your supply pressure and the downstream flow your line needs, and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
L marks the low-pressure regulator type, as opposed to the standard type. The exact regulation range for this low-pressure version is not published on the catalogue sheet we work from, so ask us to confirm it against your set pressure. Standard (non-L) GFR units regulate 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic or differential-pressure drains.
