The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/4 with Round Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single 3/4-inch body. This configuration is the size 600 unit with a PT3/4 port, standard 40 um filtration element, and a manual drain, so condensate is released by opening the drain valve rather than automatically. Because it is the 600 size, the bowl is aluminium alloy, and the outlet pressure is adjusted across 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). A round pressure gauge reading in psi is fitted so the setpoint can be checked at a glance, and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family runs from size 200 up to size 600, with larger sizes carrying larger ports and more flow, and options that include automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), G or NPT threads, bracket choices, and gauge scale variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at a 3/4-inch drop from a factory compressed-air ring main, it cleans the supply and sets a stable working pressure for the cell or department below it, with the psi gauge letting maintenance verify the setpoint during rounds.
Feeding a pneumatically operated press or clamping station, it strips water and pipe scale before the valves and holds the cylinder circuit at the pressure the tooling was set up for, protecting seals and consistent cycle force.
Mounted in the services panel of a packaging or case-sealing machine, it conditions the air feeding directional valves and actuators, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled changeover and cleaning stops.
Start with the port and size step: GFR units come in 200, 300, 400 and 600, and the 600 size here takes a 3/4-inch port, so match the step to the air demand of the line it feeds - if your demand sits above what a 400 can pass at acceptable pressure drop, step up to this 600. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (this unit) needs someone to open the drain periodically, automatic drains continuously, and differential-pressure drains when the element loads up. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W option for 5 um where finer pre-filtration matters. Gauge scale can be MPa, psi (this unit) or bar, and the thread is PT as standard with G and NPT available to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop, and we will confirm the relevant datasheet curve figures for the GFR600 at PT3/4 on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collecting in the aluminium bowl is released by opening the drain valve. Choose manual where the unit is accessible and drained on a schedule, such as during shift checks or maintenance stops; choose the automatic or differential-pressure drain options where the installation is hard to reach or you want drainage without operator action.
