The AirTAC GFR600-20G AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/4in G, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20G is a size 600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a G3/4 (BSPP) port, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, the standard 40 um filter element, and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 600 the drain bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options including manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) filter element, MPa or bar gauge scales, and PT or NPT threads. Published flow data appears as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for spray-booth and air-balance circuits: the 40 um element drops out water and pipe scale while the regulator holds a steady set pressure to the booth's pneumatic equipment, and the automatic drain keeps condensate off the floor in a busy shop.
Feeding the pneumatic cylinders and flap-tuck actuators on a packaging conveyor: filtered, regulated air at a stable psi setting keeps stroke behavior consistent across shifts, with the 3/4 in port suiting a main branch drop feeding multiple stations.
Conditioning supply air to rack-and-pinion actuators on a water-treatment valve skid: the regulator holds the actuator's rated pressure band and the automatic drain protects the positioner and solenoid valves from moisture carryover.
Size and port set the capacity step: the GFR600 with its 3/4 in port is the larger end of the range (200/300/400/600), so match the size to the flow your line needs - we can check the published flow curves against your demand before you order. Drain choice matters on the filter side: this unit has an automatic drain, but manual and differential-pressure drains are also available in the family. Filter grade is 40 um standard here; specify code W for the 5 um element where finer particulate removal is required. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread is G (BSPP) on this model; PT is the standard thread and G/NPT are catalogue options to order. A mounting bracket is optional (this configuration is without bracket).
Note on sizing: flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so please ask us to confirm the datasheet figures against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the flow curve and datasheet figures for this size 600 unit on request.
The A in the code GFR60020AJF2G specifies an automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate from the aluminium bowl without operator attention - useful on lines that run unattended. The GFR family is also available with a manual drain or the differential-pressure drain (the default when no drain letter appears), and the filter element can be specified as 5 um (code W) instead of the standard 40 um.
