The AirTAC GFR600-20G AirTAC Filter Regulator, G3/4, 5 um, psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20G is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a G3/4 (BSPP) port, a 5 um filter element for finer filtration than the 40 um standard, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the drain is sufficient, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy, and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Because flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the take-off from a plant air header, it cleans the supply and holds a set pressure for a packaging line's valve islands, with the check valve holding the circuit if the header dips.
Feeding tool-clamp and pallet-change circuits on a machining centre, the 5 um element protects sensitive pneumatic components from water and fine particulate while the regulator holds a stable set pressure.
Mounted ahead of the control valves on a high-throughput conveyor line, it conditions the air and keeps actuation pressure constant so diverters and stoppers cycle consistently shift after shift.
Size 600 is the largest step in the GFR range, so start there when your line demands high air delivery at a 3/4 in port; step down to 300 or 400 if the flow curve (which we confirm on request) shows a smaller body is sufficient. Choose the 5 um element on this unit when downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer protection than the 40 um standard, and note that the differential-pressure drain suits a steady, continuous duty where occasional manual draining is not practical. The square gauge here reads psi; MPa and bar scales are available if your panel standard differs.
The reverse/check valve holds downstream pressure if the supply drops, and the J code means no mounting bracket is fitted - add one if the unit will be wall or panel mounted rather than line mounted. Thread is G (BSPP) on this model; PT is the standard thread and NPT is an order option. Before ordering, ask us to confirm sizing against your application: flow is published as curves, not a single rating.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct sizing for you before you order.
The blank drain position on the GFR code means the differential-pressure drain, which discharges condensate automatically as the pressure differential across it builds - no manual draining on a set schedule. The F2 position means an embedded square gauge with a psi scale; MPa and bar scales, and an external round gauge, are available as options.
