The AirTAC GFR600-20T AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/4 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This size 600 unit has a 3/4 in NPT port, a manual-drain bowl in aluminium alloy, a 40 um filter element, and a round pressure gauge reading in MPa. The standard regulator covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), the unit takes up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) inlet, and it operates at -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). It is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

A 3/4 in filtered and regulated drop feeding clamps, fixtures and air tools at a CNC machining cell, with the manual-drain bowl emptied during routine shift checks.
Conditioned air for the cylinders and air-operated sealers on a carton packaging conveyor, where steady regulated pressure keeps stroke timing consistent through the shift.
Mounted after the receiver tank on a workshop compressor panel to deliver clean, regulated air into the shop distribution line serving multiple workstations.
Size and port step up together: 200, 300, 400 and 600, with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, so choose the size whose flow curve covers your demand - we can confirm the curve on request. Drain choice matters: this unit is manual (code M), so the bowl is emptied by hand; automatic (A) or the default differential-pressure drain suit unattended lines. Filter grade is 40 um standard; specify W for 5 um. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round MPa gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options; this unit is NPT. Code J means no mounting bracket is fitted. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against the application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
Code M means the aluminium bowl is drained by hand, which suits attended installations with regular checks. The alternatives are the automatic drain (code A) and the differential-pressure drain fitted by default, both better for unattended lines. The manual-drain version also carries the wider regulation range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
