The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This size 600 unit is specified with a 1 in NPT port, 5 um filtration (the finer W grade, versus the 40 um standard element), and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the filter is sufficient. Regulation is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, a round gauge on a psi scale is fitted so set pressure is visible, and a reverse/check valve is included to hold downstream pressure if the supply drops. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl on this 600 size is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual draining, square or round gauges on MPa, psi or bar scales, a reverse/check valve, G, NPT or PT threads, and with or without a mounting bracket. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered and regulated air at a paint line drop, where the 5 um element keeps water and particulate out of the air feeding spray equipment and the regulator holds a steady set pressure at the booth.
Conditioning the 1 in main feeding pneumatic cylinders and actuators on a packaging conveyor, with the check valve holding downstream pressure if the compressor side dips during a shift.
A machine-tool air drop where clean, regulated supply pressure is needed for tool-change and clamping circuits, with the psi gauge letting maintenance verify the set point at a glance.
Start from the port and size step: this unit is size 600 with a 1 in NPT port, the largest step in the GFR range, chosen when the air demand at the point of use calls for the biggest ports in the series. Choose the drain to match the site: differential-pressure draining (this unit) needs no operator intervention, automatic draining suits unattended installations, and manual draining suits low-condensate duty or periodic inspection routines. Filtration grade is a real choice: 40 um is the standard element, while the 5 um W grade on this model protects finer downstream equipment. The gauge code C2 means a round gauge on a psi scale is fitted; square gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. Thread is NPT here, with G (BSPP) and PT available to order, and the J code means no mounting bracket is included. Flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
W selects the 5 um filtration element instead of the 40 um standard. The finer grade suits downstream equipment that is sensitive to smaller particles; the 40 um element remains the standard choice for general plant air. Both grades are available across the GFR range.
