The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This size 600 unit carries a 1 in NPT port, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual intervention, a 40 um standard filter element, and an embedded square gauge reading in bar. A reverse/check valve is fitted, and the regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a different drain type, a 5 um (W) element, alternative gauge scales, G or NPT thread in place of the PT standard, and a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use air preparation for clamping and pressing stations on a vehicle body line: the 1 in port feeds high-draw tooling while the regulator holds a stable set pressure and the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the circuit.
Supplying the air cylinders that push, divert and stop packs on a conveyor system, with the 40 um element protecting valve spools and the automatic drain coping with a line that runs unattended across shifts.
Conditioning instrument air ahead of pneumatic valve positioners and actuators on a process skid: the reverse/check valve holds the set pressure if supply dips, and the bar-scale square gauge gives operators a local reading.
Start with the port step: size 600 with a 1 in port sits at the top of the GFR range, so match it against the air demand of the circuit - if your consumption is modest, a 300 or 400 body with a smaller port may be the more economical choice, and we can check the flow curve against your application before you order. Choose the drain to suit attendance: automatic (this unit) suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations, manual suits supervised points, differential-pressure is the catalogue default. Filter grade is 40 um standard; specify 5 um (code W) only where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. The embedded square gauge is standard with MPa, psi or bar scales; an external round gauge is optional. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is the NPT version. A bracket is optional (this unit omits it).
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number that could mislead your sizing. Send us your air consumption and pressure requirements and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet against your application before you order.
The automatic drain (code A) ejects collected condensate on its own, which suits installations that run unattended or are awkward to reach; manual and differential-pressure drains are available on the same size if you prefer. You can also order a 5 um element (code W), a different gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), G or NPT thread instead of the PT standard, and a mounting bracket.
