The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT, Bar Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This size-600 unit carries a 1 in NPT port for high-flow main lines. The 40 um element is the standard filtration grade, the differential-pressure drain bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, and the fitted reverse/check valve holds the downstream setting if upstream supply is interrupted. The embedded square gauge is scaled in bar, and the aluminium alloy bowl suits this largest frame size.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT thread options. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the head of a 1 in distribution drop feeding a production hall, cleaning the supply of water and scale and holding a steady header pressure for every downstream branch.
Feeding a big air-operated press or clamp station, where the reverse/check valve keeps the set pressure locked in across the tool even if the upstream supply dips.
Conditioning and regulating the air feeding a bank of quarter-turn pneumatic actuators on a process line, with the bar-scale square gauge giving operators a local setpoint reference.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) and their ports (1/8 in to 1 in) to match the pipe and the flow your line needs - the 600 size with a 1 in port is the top of the range. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure (this unit, self-bleeding in service), automatic (A) for unattended dumps, or manual (M) where you drain on a schedule. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify W for 5 um where finer protection matters. Gauges come as the embedded square type with MPa, psi or bar scales, or an optional external round gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; brackets are optional (this configuration is supplied without one).
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and demand and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for the GFR600-25 on request before you order.
This configuration uses the differential-pressure drain (the default): collected condensate bleeds away automatically whenever airflow through the unit creates the pressure difference that opens the drain. If you prefer, the same GFR600 body can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) for unattended condensate dumping, or a manual drain (code M) where you want to drain on a fixed schedule.
