The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain bowl, and a round pressure gauge with a psi scale. The bowl on this size is aluminium alloy. The standard regulator adjusts outlet pressure from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the unit operates from -5 to 70 C in non-freezing conditions.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G, NPT or PT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the drop from a 1 in compressed-air header to condition the supply and hold a set pressure for a production department's pneumatic circuits, with the manual drain bled during routine walk-round checks.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to the pneumatic cylinders and actuators that drive carton forming, sealing and pusher stations on a packaging conveyor, with the psi gauge giving operators a direct pressure readout.
Conditioning the air supply to quarter-turn pneumatic valve actuators on a process skid, where stable regulated pressure keeps valve stroke behaviour consistent and the manual drain is emptied during scheduled maintenance.
Size 600 with a 1 in NPT port is the largest step in the GFR range, so use it where the supply line and connected equipment are sized for 1 in piping; for smaller demand, the 200/300/400 sizes with 1/8 to 3/4 in ports are the more economical choice. This unit has a manual drain, which suits installations where an operator can bleed the bowl during checks; choose the automatic or differential-pressure drain code if the bowl should empty itself. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the W code for a 5 um element where finer filtration is needed. The round psi gauge is fitted here; square gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. Thread is NPT on this code, with G (BSPP) and PT available to order, and this configuration has no mounting bracket. Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your line pressure and the demand of the equipment you are feeding, and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: the bowl is emptied by hand during maintenance rounds. If you cannot rely on that, order the automatic-drain version (code A) or the differential-pressure-drain version (blank code) instead. All three drain types share the same 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range on this filter regulator.
