The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in. PT Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This size 600 unit carries a PT 1 in. port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the bowl is high enough. The low-pressure type regulator is intended for circuits set well below standard working pressures, and the fitted square gauge reads in psi so operators can check and adjust the setpoint at a glance. The aluminium alloy bowl suits this large frame.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in. to 1 in., a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filter element, standard or low-pressure regulation, square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads as order options. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to a packaging machine's actuator circuits where the process calls for a low setpoint, with the psi square gauge letting line staff verify the setting during changeover.
Mounted ahead of a loom or knitting machine air manifold, it strips water and 40 um particulate from the shop supply and holds a stable low pressure to the machine's jet and cylinder circuits.
Placed upstream of quarter-turn pneumatic valve actuators on a process line, it cleans the supply and regulates it to the actuator's rated pressure, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate between cycles.
Start with size and port: GFR600 steps up to a 1 in. PT connection for lines that outgrow the 200/300/400 frames, but sizing should follow required flow, which we confirm from the datasheet curves on request. Choose the drain to match the installation: differential-pressure (this unit) drains on pressure change, automatic (code A) drains continuously, and manual (code M) needs an operator. Pick the filter grade: 40 um standard for general air preparation, 5 um (code W) where finer particulate removal matters. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and PT versus G/NPT thread are specified at order; brackets are optional (code J omits the bracket, as here). This is the low-pressure type, so confirm its regulation range against your setpoint with us before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, setpoint and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request.
The L code marks the low-pressure regulator variant, intended for circuits set well below standard working pressures. Its exact regulation range is not published in our sheet, so confirm your target setpoint with us and we will verify suitability from the datasheet before you order.
