The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in PT, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single 600-size body with a 1 in PT port. This configuration carries a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, a low-pressure regulator type, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. The bowl on this size 600 unit is aluminium alloy, and the unit is supplied with a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is available with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) or 40 um element, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads as order options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to the cylinder-driven stoppers and pushers on a bottling conveyor, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled line cleaning.
Used as the point-of-use filter regulator on a machine's air manifold, where the low-pressure regulator type and psi-reading round gauge suit circuits set below full line pressure.
Provides cleaned, regulated air to pneumatic clamps and fixture actuators in a fabrication cell, with the aluminium bowl and bracket standing up to a fixed panel installation.
Start with the port step: the 600 size with a 1 in PT port suits lines plumbed at 1 inch, and larger sizes carry more flow - match the size to your demand rather than oversizing on price alone. Choose the drain to match access: manual drain (this unit) needs someone to open it on a routine; automatic and differential-pressure drains suit less-accessed installs. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify 5 um (code W) where finer particulate removal matters. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are decodable choices, and a bracket is included here.
One honest note: AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not a single rated number, and the exact adjustment range of the low-pressure type is not stated on our sheet. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the flow and full datasheet figures for this 1 in PT, 600-size unit on request.
The M in GFR600-25MLC2 decodes to a manual drain: the bowl is emptied by hand on a routine you set. The GFR family is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or a differential-pressure drain (blank) if you prefer not to rely on manual draining - just ask for the alternative code.
