The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator, G1 (1 in) Port is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus downstream pressure regulation combined in a single body. This 600-size unit carries a G1 (1 in) BSPP port, a 40 um standard filter element, and a manual drain bowl in aluminium alloy - the material used at size 600. Pressure is set with the embedded square gauge (psi scale), and the fitted reverse/check valve holds the downstream setting if upstream supply is interrupted. Supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port steps from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options including automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), MPa or bar gauge scales, G or NPT threads, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the 1 in main drop feeding a press hall, the GFR600-25 removes water and scale carried over from the receiver and holds a steady regulated pressure to the press air circuit, with the check valve protecting the setting during supply dips.
Mounted ahead of the valve manifold on a carton-handling conveyor, the unit filters carryover moisture from the shop air and regulates the supply so the pusher and clamp cylinders see consistent pressure through every cycle.
On a valve-actuation skid fed at 1 in, the GFR600-25 conditions the air to the positioner and actuator circuit and keeps the regulated setpoint stable, with the psi gauge giving operators a local reading at the skid.
Start with the port and size step: the GFR600 takes a 1 in port, the largest in the range, so size up to 600 when your line's flow demand outgrows a 3/4 in GFR400. Choose the drain to match access: this unit has a manual drain, which suits attended installations where an operator can bleed the bowl; pick automatic or differential-pressure drain codes where the unit is remote or unattended. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify code W for 5 um where finer particulate removal matters. The embedded square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is optional. Thread is G (BSPP) on this unit; PT is the catalogue standard and NPT is an order option. A bracket is available if you need panel mounting.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR600 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the relevant datasheet figures so you can size the unit before ordering.
The M in the code GFR60025MJF2GK specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the aluminium bowl is released by hand. Choose manual drain where the unit is accessible and attended; if the installation is remote or unattended, ask us about the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the GFR600.
