The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator G1 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This size-600 unit carries a G1 (1 in) G thread, a manual-drain bowl in aluminium alloy, a 40 um standard filter element, and a low-pressure regulator fitted with an embedded square gauge scaled in psi. No reverse/check valve is fitted and no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drain, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, and gauge and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating supply air to a clamping and pneumatic-press circuit on a production line, where the 1 in port feeds high-demand actuators and the low-pressure regulator type matches circuits run at reduced regulated pressures.
Conditioning air ahead of spray guns and air-assisted applicators in a finishing booth: the 40 um element removes water and particulate that would spoil finish quality, while the regulator holds a steady gun supply pressure.
Feeding air knives and blow-off nozzles that clear dust and film from containers on a packaging conveyor, with the manual-drain aluminium bowl emptied during scheduled line checks.
Size and port set the capacity: step up from 200 to 600 as air demand grows; this unit is size 600 with a 1 in G thread. Choose the drain: manual (as here) needs periodic attention, automatic suits unattended lines, differential-pressure drains on pressure drop. Filter grade is 40 um standard; specify W for 5 um. Gauge scale is selectable as MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a square psi gauge. The low-pressure regulator type suits circuits regulated below standard ranges - ask us to confirm its adjustment range from the datasheet. PT is the standard thread, with G and NPT as order options. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this exact configuration before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: collected water is released by opening the drain valve during checks. It suits installations that are attended regularly; choose the automatic or differential-pressure drain codes where the bowl cannot be inspected often. On this size-600 unit the bowl is aluminium alloy.
