The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1 in, 5 um, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit is specified with a PT1 (1 in) PT-threaded port, 5 um filtration (the finer W grade, against the 40 um standard element), an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The aluminium alloy bowl is specific to the 600 size, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grades of 40 um or 5 um, gauge styles and scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and optional reverse/check valves. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on a 1 in compressed-air distribution header serving a production hall, the GFR600-25 filters water and scale from the main supply and holds a set downstream pressure for the whole department.
Feeding the pneumatic cylinders and air bells that move, stop and divert product on packaging and bottling conveyor lines, with the 5 um element protecting directional valves from particulate carryover.
Mounted ahead of quarter-turn pneumatic actuators on process valves, giving a regulated, filtered air supply at the pressure the positioner and actuator were specified for.
Size 600 with a PT1 (1 in) port sits at the top of the GFR range - step up or down through 200/300/400 and 1/8 in to 3/4 in ports to match the air demand of the line; we will confirm sizing against the published flow curves on request. Drain: this unit is automatic, so condensate is expelled without operator intervention; differential-pressure (default) and manual drains are also available in the family. Filtration is 5 um here (code W); choose 40 um where only coarser protection is needed. The gauge is the external round type on a psi scale; an embedded square gauge and MPa or bar scales are the other catalogue options. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options. A mounting bracket is included with this unit.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for the GFR600-25 on request before you order.
This GFR600-25 carries the A drain code, so collected condensate is discharged automatically without daily manual attention - useful on larger 1 in supplies where bowls fill quickly. The family also offers a manual drain (code M) and the differential-pressure drain that is the catalogue default; all three share the same 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) regulation range on this configuration.
